Geçmiş-Şimdiki Zaman  /  Past-Present Tense 

“Geçmiş-Şimdiki Zaman” serisindeki fotoğraf ve heykel çalışmalarım, kendi geçmişimle şimdi arasında kurduğum bağın, olasılıklarını araştırma ve yeniden tanımlama çabamın bir yansımasıdır. Kokunun hafızamızdaki derin etkisini ve kadın bedeni formundaki şişelerin kendi izlerini kullanarak, bireysel ve kolektif hikayelere yeni bir bakış sunuyorum. Geçmişin kırılgan anlarını, bir şişede saklanmış bir koku gibi yeniden yapılandırarak, geleceğe dair olasılıklar yaratmaya çalışıyorum. Bu yaklaşımım hem duygusal bir sığınak hem de zamanın ötesine geçme arayışıdır. Bir zaman kapsülü gibi geçmişi ve geleceği bir araya getirerek, izleyiciyi de kendi olasılıklarını keşfetmeye davet ediyorum.

Past-Present Tense  /  Geçmiş-Şimdiki Zaman

My photographic and sculptural works in the “Past-Present” series are a reflection of the connection I have established between my own past and present, my effort to investigate and redefine its possibilities. By using the deep effect of scent on our memory and the traces of the bottles in the form of a female body, I offer a new perspective on individual and collective stories. By reconstructing the fragile moments of the past like a scent preserved in a bottle, I try to create possibilities for the future. This approach of mine is both an emotional shelter and a quest to go beyond time. By bringing the past and the future together like a time capsule, I invite the viewer to discover their own possibilities.
